Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Take repair orders from the dispatcher and move cars to the stall area.
2. Work in accordance with the repair order given with accuracy and efficiency, also following all factory and dealership standards.
3. Carry out efficient diagnosis and repair the problem when authorized to do so.
4. Obtain the necessary parts for your jobs by communicating with the Parts Department.
5. When the job is under warranty or when requested by the customer, label and save parts for turning in.
6. Let the service advisor know when you need more time to finish a job, when the work indicated isn’t necessary, or if any additional work is needed.
7. Document all work performed.
8. To ensure customer complaints are resolved, road-test vehicles after work is performed.
9. Go through quality checks on performed work.
10. Attend all training classes.
11. Keep abreast of all factory technical bulletins.
12. Make sure that the cleanliness of the vehicle is maintained throughout the work.
13. Follow and carry out all housekeeping and safety procedures and policies.
14. Know and follow all local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations regarding service and repair work.
